Open your Bible and read John 10:1-18
“My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.”
John 10:27 · ESVJesus did not say His sheep might hear Him on a good day. He said they hear His voice. That includes you.
Most of the time it is not thunder. It is a quiet thought that carries weight and does not sound like your own. It brings peace even when it is correcting you. It never contradicts the Bible, not once, and it always moves you toward Him rather than away.
The enemy's voice accuses, rushes and isolates. God's voice invites, and He is patient enough to repeat Himself. You learn a voice by spending time with the person, so do not expect to be fluent this week. Get quiet, ask Him a simple question, and write down the first thing that has peace on it. Then check it against Scripture.
You will get it wrong sometimes. Keep listening anyway.
