Open your Bible and read 1 Peter 2:4-10
“But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.”
1 Peter 2:9 · ESVPeter hands you a title you probably never expected to wear. Priest. Under the old covenant, one man went behind the curtain to be with God on behalf of everybody else. When Jesus died, that curtain tore from top to bottom, and the way in was opened for you. No middle man. No waiting on a pastor or a building or a Sunday.
A priest has one central job, and it is not preaching. It is ministering to God. Bringing Him worship. Bringing Him love. Attending to Him because He is worthy of it.
That is what the secret place is. A private room where you serve God directly with your affection. Nobody sees it and nobody applauds it, and it is the most important thing you will do all week.
You have a royal priesthood. Start using it.

Find one place in your home, your car, or outside that will be your secret place, and go there today.
Say this out loud
“I am a royal priest before God. I have full access to Him and I will use it.”
