Open your Bible and read Acts 2:42-47
“And day by day, attending the temple together and breaking bread in their homes, they received their food with glad and generous hearts,”
Acts 2:46 · ESVThe early church had both. The temple, which was the big gathering, and the homes, which was where life actually got shared. You need both too.
A Sunday service can be attended by a person who is quietly falling apart and nobody would ever know. You can be seen by three hundred people and known by none of them. Being known is a different thing, and it only happens in a smaller room around a table.
That is where you can say the true version out loud. Where somebody notices you have been off. Where you can ask the question you would never raise your hand for.
Yes it means letting people see the unfinished parts of you. That is the price and it is worth every bit of it. You already have nothing to hide, because you are righteous in Christ and God is not the least bit surprised by you.

Ask someone at church this week how to get into a small group, and sign up for one.
Say this out loud
“I will be known by a few people, not just seen by a crowd. I have nothing to hide.”
