Open your Bible and read Matthew 18:15-20
“For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them.”
Matthew 18:20 · ESVPraying with another person feels strange the first time. You hear your own voice. You wonder if you sound like you know what you are doing. Do it anyway.
Jesus attached a promise to it. Where two or three gather in His name, He is right there among them. Not watching from a distance. Among them. Something happens in agreement that does not happen alone, and you were never meant to carry your whole prayer life by yourself.
Keep it simple. No performance, no special vocabulary, no long speeches. Ask the person what they need. Pray it in plain words. Say amen and be done in ninety seconds.
And let them pray for you too. That part is harder for most people. Being prayed over means letting somebody see what you actually need, and that is exactly the kind of honesty the enemy works hardest to keep you away from.

Ask one believer today if you can pray with them for two minutes, then pray out loud together.
