Open your Bible and read 2 Timothy 3:10-17
“All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness,”
2 Timothy 3:16 · ESVThe Bible is not a rulebook God left behind while He went away. It is breathed out by Him, which means it is alive and He is still speaking through it. Do not start at page one and try to bulldoze through. Start with a Gospel and read a little at a time. Ten honest minutes beats an hour you dread.
Here is a simple way in. Read a short passage. Ask what it shows you about who God is. Ask what it says about who you are in Christ. Then talk to Him about it, right there, before you close the book.
You will hit parts you do not understand. Everyone does. Keep reading anyway and let the Holy Spirit teach you, because He is the one who inspired it in the first place.
Feed on this and you will grow. It is that direct.
