Open your Bible and read Luke 11:1-13
“If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will the heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!”
Luke 11:13 · ESVLook at how simple Jesus made it. Ask. The Father is not stingy with the Holy Spirit. He is not holding back the good stuff until you have earned a certain number of clean days. Jesus compares Him to a dad who cannot wait to give his kids something good, and then says the heavenly Father is far better than that.
Being filled is not a one time event you can check off. In Acts the same believers were filled again and again. Think of it like a lung. You do not breathe once and live off it for the rest of your life.
So ask today, out loud, and expect Him to answer. Do not overcomplicate it. Fill me, Holy Spirit. Have all of me.
He is more willing to fill you than you are to ask.
